EU VILLAGE in Malta
As part of the celebrations marking Maltaís entry into European Union, an EU Village is being set up in St Georges Square Valletta in front of the Presidential Palace. The Czech Republic will have itís own stand which will promote Prague, the Capital city of the Czech Republic. The stand will also feature Corinthia Hotels International which is one of the largest hotel operators in Prague with its investment made since 1998 in Corinthia Towers and Corinthia Panorama Hotels, together with AirMalta plc which operates weekly flights between Malta and the Czech Republic. HE Dr Edward Fenech Adami, President of Malta accompanied by The Hon Dr Lawrence Gonzi, Prime Minister of Malta on Sunday 2nd May, will inaugurate the EU Village.
The EU Village will be opened till 9th May between 09.00 to 13.00 hrs and 16.00 to 21.00 hrs daily.
Counselor Mr. Jiri Slavik from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Rome, will be visiting Malta between the 30th April and 3rd May to attend the official celebrations in representation of HE Mr. Lebor Secka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Malta.
